PaperTrade does not sell personal information or use user data for advertising, data brokerage, or cross-site profiling.
The extension does not request wallet private keys, seed phrases, passwords, payment details, or direct access to user funds.

Data Stored in Your Browser
PaperTrade stores simulator balances, paper positions, trade history, interface preferences, and a randomly generated anonymous analytics identifier in browser storage so your workspace can persist between supported pages.
Some preferences may be synchronized by Chrome when browser sync is enabled. The analytics identifier remains local to the browser and is removed when the extension is uninstalled. PaperTrade does not operate a developer database for simulator records.

Information Used on Supported Pages
On supported trading websites, PaperTrade reads token identifiers, market data, and page context needed to calculate simulated trades, PnL, chart markers, and reports.
This information is used to provide the feature you are viewing and is not used to build an advertising profile.
04 / Optional tweet translation
Optional Tweet Translation
Tweet Translate is disabled by default. When enabled, text from supported social popups is sent to Google Translate so a translated result can be displayed on the page.

Third-Party Services
PaperTrade may request token and market information from supported trading platforms. Google Translate processes text submitted through Tweet Translate when that module is enabled. PostHog EU processes the limited anonymous product-usage events described below.
Use of third-party services is also subject to their own privacy policies and terms.
06 / Analytics and advertising
Analytics and Advertising
PaperTrade sends limited product-usage events to PostHog EU to measure installations and active extension usage. Events are limited to extension installation, popup opening, session start, periodic active status, extension version, and a randomly generated anonymous identifier. Person profiles and GeoIP enrichment are disabled.
Analytics does not include visited URLs, token addresses, wallet information, balances, positions, trade history, translated text, or page content. PaperTrade does not use analytics data for advertising, cross-site profiling, or data sales. Ongoing usage events stop when the master toggle is disabled.
07 / Your control and retention
Your Control and Data Retention
Browser-stored data remains until you reset it, clear the relevant extension or website storage, or remove it manually. PostHog retains anonymous analytics events according to the project's configured retention period. Individual modules and the complete extension can be disabled from the popup.
You can stop using PaperTrade at any time by disabling or uninstalling the extension. Removing the extension also removes its browser-stored data according to Chrome's extension data controls.

PaperTrade is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
This policy may be updated when product features or data practices change. The latest version will remain available on this page.
